1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Vidsly, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Vidsly is an AI-powered text-to-speech and video generation platform. We convert text you provide into narrated audio and, on certain plans, AI-illustrated video. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are a teacher or parent creating an account for educational use, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Vidsly to generate content that:
- Is harmful, abusive, hateful, or harassing
- Violates the intellectual property rights of others
- Is sexually explicit or violent
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is used to deceive, impersonate, or defraud others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.
5. Content you provide
You retain ownership of the text you input into Vidsly. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your text for the purpose of generating audio and video output. We do not use your story content to train AI models.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any text you input (e.g. copyright clearance for published works).
6. Generated content
Audio and video files you generate using Vidsly are yours to use, subject to the following:
- You may use generated audio and video for personal, educational, and commercial purposes (including YouTube channels)
- You may not resell or sublicence the service itself
- Generated content using public domain text is freely usable; ensure any input text you use is appropriately licensed
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. On cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again after that.
Credits are a separately priced component of every paid plan and of every one-time top-up: each credit's price equals the plan's monthly price divided by the plan's monthly credit allotment (for one-time top-ups, the pack price divided by the pack's credit count). Credits are delivered and usable immediately on payment.
We do not offer refunds for partial months except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@vidsly.ai within 14 days.
7.1 EU/EEA & UK consumers — right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your subscription or one-time purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, without giving a reason.
At checkout, you expressly request that we begin performing the service immediately — including instant delivery of your credits — before the end of the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge the consequences below. We confirm that request to you by email after purchase.
If you withdraw within the 14-day period, we will refund everything you paid minus the value of the credits you have already used, calculated at the per-credit price defined in section 7. The refund goes to your original payment method within 14 days of your withdrawal notice. Once your credits are fully used, or your billing period ends, the service has been fully performed and the right of withdrawal ends.
To withdraw, email hello@vidsly.ai with the subject "Withdrawal" from your account email address. You may (but are not required to) use this model form:
"To Vidsly: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: [your plan or top-up], ordered on [date]. Name: — Account email: — Date:"
8. Free plan
The free plan provides a daily allowance of free credits (currently 150 credits on signup plus 10 per day for the first 30 days; legacy accounts: 3,000 characters per calendar month). Daily allowances reset automatically and do not accumulate. Unused subscription credits roll over for up to 90 days while your subscription remains active; any credits remaining when your subscription ends or is canceled expire at the end of the paid billing period. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vidsly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated audio will meet your specific requirements.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through binding arbitration if necessary.
