How does the AI video generator work?
In the AI Studio you paste (or AI-write) a script, pick a voice, and generate. gpt-image-2 renders one image per scene in your chosen style, the video engine animates each into a short clip, and the clips are stitched together and synced to the narration — producing a finished MP4 (H.264/AAC, 24fps). No editing software needed.
Slideshow or real animation?
Both. The fast path pans and zooms the scene images (Ken Burns style) for a quick video; the animated engines generate genuine motion where the subject actually moves. You choose per project in the Studio.
What video formats can I export?
YouTube landscape (16:9 / 1920×1080, up to 10 minutes and 70 scenes) and TikTok / Shorts / Reels portrait (9:16 / 1080×1920, up to 3 minutes and 34 scenes). Portrait keeps the subject centered in frame.
Will the character stay consistent across scenes?
Yes. Add a reference image (a character you describe, or your own art) and every scene is generated from it, so the same face, colors and outfit carry through the whole video — no drift between scenes.
How much does a video cost?
You're charged per scene — one AI image plus one motion clip each — and the total is shown up front before you generate. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance from $4/month. On Creator ($19/mo) and up, the unlimited lane costs 0 credits per clip: it's in beta, renders a 480p source upscaled to a 1080p delivery canvas, and a daily allowance paces long jobs across days rather than refusing them.
Does it add captions?
Not on this pipeline. Burned-in captions are available on the photo-video tool, where you supply your own images and audio. The AI video pipeline has no caption pass — add them in your editor or on the platform.
